Dog River Clearwater Revival's Dog Paddle 2010 Kayak/Canoe Races

Dog River Clearwater Revival's Dog Paddle 2010 Kayak/Canoe Races will be held on May 22nd from 8:30AM-2PM in Mobile, AL at Dog River Park (formerly Luscher/Navco Park). Registration and Race Packet Pick-up begins at 6:30 AM.

Early Registration Fee $25 for adults/ $5 for children under 18 (lunch included). Day of Event Registration Fee $30 for adults/ $10 for children (lunch included).

The day will begin with one 4 mile kayak/canoe race (see course and boat classification info online), a 1/2 mile fun race and one 1/2 mile dog & owner race.

After the races, DRCR will offer the following: a local band, Southern Current, will play live under a spacious tent, Dembo's BBQ will be made available, a dog costume contest (proceeds to ARF), arts& crafts (including the work of 5 local artists) and lots of children's activities (including a toy boat building booth). It should be an awesome event for recreational and competitive paddlers, as well as spectators who would like to enjoy a fun day on the river.
