Melissa Johnson
Melissa is an avid outdoor enthusiast and amateur birder. As a former arts educator, she taught elementary art for fifteen years before moving to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 2007.
In Ocean Springs, Melissa has covered the arts scene as a freelance journalist and continued her work as an arts educator for the Mary C. O'Keefe Arts and Culture Center. Paul Nettles
Paul has been professionally involved in outdoor recreation and education for twenty years from Georgia to California before returning to his hometown of Ocean Springs. In 2002, Paul opened a kayak and bike rental shop called Pe'ro Guides. With a new opportunity to join in partnership with South Coast Paddling Company in 2009, Paul offers his expertise as lead guide for kayak tours and instruction. More . . .
